Hi everybody!
We can’t believe that we’re already almost at the wedding date! Time has definitely disappeared on us.
As noted, the wedding venue will be at Glen Ewin Estate. We are aiming for the ceremony to start at 4pm sharp!
We recommend an arrival time of about 3:30pm and you’d be able to have a leisurely stroll and hang out at the beautiful venue. We’re aiming for a semi-formal dress code!
Draft running order:
3:30pm Arrival of Guest
4:00pm Ceremony Start
4:30pm Photo time with guest!
5:00pm Canapes! Yum!
6:30pm Guest to be seated in preparation for the reception!
We have the venue until 11pm that night! So lets have a great night celebrating together!
Venue
Glen Ewin Estate is nestled in the rolling Adelaide Hills. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes, it is one of the South Australia’s iconic wedding locations.
The ceremony and reception will take place at The Gatehouse portion of the estate.
A detailed schedule of the event will be released closer to the date.
The ceremony is expected to start at around 4pm with a reception to follow.
The expected dress code for the event will be semi-formal.
Accomodation
For guest requiring accommodation, we recommend getting something in Adelaide City! The city would allow for easy access to other facilities during your stay in Adelaide if you do not have access to a car.
We intend to hire bus transport to ferry guest from the city to the wedding venue and back. So watch this space for more information on that!
Weather
What can we expect from the weather in October?
October in Adelaide would be considered smack in the middle of Spring. Historically, the average temperatures we can expect is between 11°C and 19°C. Bear in mind that’s average temperature. We should be able to expect really nice days with cool nights. A jacket would be recommended once the sun sets.
